Indications and clinical use :  
- Pre and post-operative eye surgery where infection and inflammation may coexist and for treatment for infections of the outer surface of the eyeball caused by microorganisms susceptible to oflaxacin ,i.e, bacterial infection that show a severe inflammatory reaction.   
Treatment of the following infections in adults and children   
• Acute otitis media in patients with tympanostomy tubes (AOMT) Acute otitis externa (AOE)  
Consideration should be given to official guidance on the appropriate use of antibacterial agents.
